Didymos India Tussah Blend

I asked what carriers you wanted to learn more about and you answered! (The survey is still open if you haven’t filled it out.) This was one of those carriers. Read on to learn about what I think of the Didymos India Tussah Blend Woven Wrap.

20130311-222954.jpgBelieve it or not, I don’t consider myself a babywearing expert. Mainly it is because my experience on woven wraps is fairly limited. My very first woven wrap to try was the Colimacon et Cie and I was pretty overwhelmed with it. I have since learned a lot about woven wraps and purchased one of my own. During International Babywearing Week I scored a great deal on a Didymos, specifically India (40% tussah silk, 60% organic cotton). I thought it was beautiful and was very thankful that Marsupial Mamas had a detailed description of the wrap since I knew I wanted something supportive yet on the thin side. I knew little to nothing then about which fabrics were good for what, etc. Really I just knew India was gorgeous, India was thin, and I wanted India.Didymos India Tussah Blend: A Little Bit of All of It

I anxiously awaited my brand new woven which was to be my very first. I was nervous. What if I hated wrapping with it? All of the worry turned out to be for nothing. I did love my new wrap. And I love wrapping with it. For someone inexperienced like me, it is nice that it is thin but supportive thanks to the silk. And it really is a beautiful wrap. I like wearing it on the wrong side just as well as the right side. I love how moldable it is as well. I think (though I don’t have enough experience to be sure!) this is a more narrow wrap than most.

I’ve been happy with my Didymos India Tussah Blend and definitely consider it permastash!

Disclosure: I received no compensation for this post. This wrap was purchased by me. I only review products that I either have purchased myself and love or products I have been given a chance to review by the company that I believe are products my readers would benefit from.
