CurlyMonkey Reusable Make-up Remover Pads

When I want to remove my eye make-up, I have been relying on cotton balls. I was cringing having to keep buying them though, both because of the expense and because it is wasteful. I went searching for a reusable option and was excited to find a brand I’d used before for cloth wipes, CurlyMonkey, made some facial rounds that fit the bill!

CurlyMonkey Organic Facial Rounds

These facial rounds are wonderful! They are made of two super soft layers of undyed 55% hemp/ 45% organic cotton fleece fabric. At 4″, these rounds are pretty big, too. They are similar in size to my cloth nursing pads and could definitely double as some. One side is super soft and the other hemp side would easily absorb leaks so it would make a great nursing pad actually.

CurlyMonkey Organic Facial RoundsI use olive oil to remove my eye make-up so I just put the olive oil on the pad, wipe off my eye make-up. If I am washing my face with baking soda and honey, I need to follow with some diluted apple cider vinegar. I use these facial rounds for that as well. I like to use the soft cotton side because it feels SO nice against my skin. I just wet it a little and add my drop or two of ACV. When I’m done, I rinse out the facial pad and set it out to dry. It dries pretty quickly because of the hemp’s highly porous nature so that is a plus as well. Washing is super simple. CurlyMonkey recommend’s washing them on warm with no bleach or fabric softeners and drying them on low heat.

If you are interested in a reusable alternative to cotton balls, I highly recommend them! CurlyMonkey also carries some very pretty rainbow edged facial pads as well in addition to many other lovely products for your baby. They have organic hooded towels, organic blankets and bath mitts for bathing, organic cloth wipes for diapering and Waldorf dolls, too!
