Sometimes you just don’t have a lot of room. Sometimes you don’t know if you’ll need to wear your baby or not. And for those times you want something small, convenient and still comfortable and easy. Something that is easy to carry around or store. That’s when you need the Stowaway Travel Carrier from Ergobaby. The video below shows how easy it is to fold up into a nice little pouch with a strap (and I love the strap!)
Guess what else I like about this travel carrier? It’s an Ergobaby carrier which means it’s comfortable. The waist and straps are padded. It still has a pocket for storage and it still has a hood. But it’s not bulky. The material is easy to just wipe down. I know because not only did Jude spit up on it, but I spilled sauce on it. Both were easily wiped off and it was clean again.
I love being able to just grab this and throw it in the car and take it with me when I’m not really sure if I’ll need to wear Jude but I don’t want to be stuck without one. This takes up very little space and that strap makes it easy to throw on my wrist so I have my hands free still. It’s only a pound so it’s not like it’s weighing you down at all. I think it looks nice, too which is a plus. It comes in Olive (the color I have) and Navy.
Putting it on is easy. It works just like any other Ergobaby carrier. You just have to unstuff it first which is basically just pulling it out of the bag and then the bag turns into the carrier. It kind of flips inside out. Getting it back in only takes a minute, too.
If you travel by plane (or even by car), this would be the absolute ideal carrier for the airport. You can just fold it into it’s pouch and stick it in your carry-on once you are in the plane but have the convenience of wearing your baby through the airport. And then if baby gets fussy on the plane? You have a way to calm him/her down because babywearing can be a wonderful way to calm a fussy baby.
I’m really enjoying my Stowaway carrier and love having a comfortable, easy to use carrier for those times when I need something compact! Would you like one of your own? Enter to win one via the Rafflecopter entry system below!
