Hello, my name is JoAnn Peistrup. I am a certified nurse-midwife practicing with Greenville Midwifery Care and Director of Midwifery Services with GHS in Greenville, SC. Our practice is new (18 months old) and growing by leaps and bounds). We have several moms from the Spartanburg area and soon will be offering office hours in Spartanburg. We offer waterbirth and vaginal birth after cesarean (VBAC). Our primary C/S rate is 7% and our VBAC success rate is 85%. Most of our moms choose natural childbirth. I would like to be able to list our services on your site and also would like to know if you could recommend other places/sites for awareness of our practice? I look forward to hearing back from you. Labors of Love Birth Center, LLC serves the upstate of South Carolina and families who drive down from North Carolina. Our center has been open for 11 years and we have served over 1,000 families who have given birth both here at their home. Many of our clients have water births or at least use water as a comfort measure. Our greatest asset is midwifery care, where each woman is heard and her wishes for her birth acknowledged.
