In the last 50 years, the global production and use of manufactured chemicals has increased substantially. More than 80,000 new chemicals have been created. These chemicals not only have a negative impact on the ecology of the earth, but also our bodies and our health.
So, what are we using to ʺcleanʺ our homes? Have you ever turned a bottle of cleaning wipes over and read the directions, and the warnings? Go ahead, I know you have a bottle of wipes in the cabinet…go look. A well known brand says to keep the surface area wet for over a minute in order to disinfect. Also, under the warning area, it says to keep out of children’s reach…yet many use these to wipe down children’s toys that go into their mouths.
ʺI love the smell of my cleaning productsʺ. I grew up in a home where the smell of Pine Needles or Bleach took over the house….and then the house was clean. What is the smell of clean you might ask? Surprisingly…NOTHING…no smell=clean.
Norwex is committed to radically reducing the use of chemicals in personal care and cleaning to promote health. Norwex has taken the world’s number one element of silver to produce the power of ʺThe Real Cleanʺ. Traditional Cleaning with cotton rags, paper towels spreads dirt across the surface. Cleaning chemicals break down grime, but once the moisture evaporates, leftover dirt mixed with chemicals dries on the surface. What is clean??? At Norwex, CLEAN is the removal of all forms of contaminants from surface leaving no residuals behind.
Norwex microfiber is a blend of polyester and polyamide. This fiber is 1/200th the size of a strand of human hair. When this high-quality microfiber is combined with the right knitting process, it creates an extremely effective cleaning material. This material can hold up to seven times its weight in matter. Unlike many other types of cloth that smear dirt across the surface you are trying to clean, microfiber cloths remove dirt, germs, bacteria and debris from the surface. Not only does the microfiber remove EVERYTHING from the surface, but the micro silver is woven within the cloths, so it doesn’t wash out. The cloths use the silver to self purify and keep everything trapped inside. Used dry the static effect created enhances the microfiber’s ability to attract dirt and dust particles. As you lightly wipe the surface, the microfiber attracts and draws up even the smallest particles of dust, trapping them in the fibers. Used wet the microfibers work together to give an excellent cleaning effect. Wet, wring and wipe away dirt and debris from all washable surfaces. Simple, Easy, Effective!

Morgan is the proud first time mom of baby Liam, with baby #2 on the way. She’s been married for 3 years this past October. Liam was a wonderful surprise that has brightened up her world. By becoming a mom, she has changed her focus towards protecting her child. Learning is a valuable tool. She is continually learning about products that we use daily that could potentially hurt her baby. She would be thrilled with the opportunity to share with you how to keep chemicals away from the next generation. You can find her on Facebook and selling Norwex products.
