Blog Update and 50% off Advertising Spots
The babywearing series ends this month and as sad as I am to see it come to an end, I’m looking forward to writing about some natural living topics I’ve been wanting to share. You can participate as well! (See the Natural Living Series Call for Submissions.)
I’m still offering a coupon code for local businesses “locallove” for 30 days of ad space for 75% off. If you are not local, I also still have a coupon code for 50% off “happy1000” to celebrate reaching 1,000 Facebook fans. This code is available for 30 days of ad space for the first 5 who claim it! See my Advertising page for more details.
Speaking of Advertising, I’d love to share with you the great group of sponsors I have for this month. Read more and stop by and support these wonderful businesses!
“More than 20 million women suffer from the consequences of weakened pelvic floor muscles which can lead to incontinence or prolapse.” Hab-It is the answer for those women. Their website includes a blog where you can learn much about your pelvic floor and the Hab-it DVD. It is important for every woman to be aware of their pelvic floor health, but after childbirth it is especially vital.
Baby K’tan makes 2 awesome baby carriers, the Original Baby K’tan and the Baby K’tan Breeze (which I’ll be sharing with you very soon!). The design is like a wrap…but with no actual wrapping! It’s cozy and really awesome for the newborn period yet I still wear my almost 9 month old in it, as well. The Breeze version is perfect for the summer months that will soon be upon us since it’s half breathable mesh.
Heather M Schiefer, Independent Creative Design is a one stop shop for your freelance graphic design needs: logos, print, web design as well as help with branding and identity. I loved scrolling through her beautiful logos and that she promises “No cookie cutter creations, no duplications.” If you want to be unique and stand out, check out Heather’s services. She has an Etsy shop as well and I’ve fallen in love with her beaded paper bookmarks pictured below.
A Mother’s Boutique is a wonderful resource for moms and soon-to-be moms. Babywearing, Nursing, Pumping, Maternity: they’ve got you covered (literally!) Now that Spring and Summer are imminent, you may want to go ahead and get some fun new warm weather nursing clothing. I have the Undercover Mama tank and think it’s a great addition to the nursing mama’s wardrobe!
Coconut Oil for Your Skin is a fantastic ebook with all sorts of coconut oil beauty recipes you can easily make for you and your family to benefit from. I made several of these recipes myself with family and had a blast and I loved using the finished products! Cooking with Coconut Oil is another ebook put out by the same author that I’ve heard really good things about.
Yellow Elm makes lots of pretty things to beautify you and your home. I personally own some of their headbands and clips and have seen firsthand the quality and craftsmanship that goes into each piece. They also have wool felt dryer balls which are an eco-friendly way to reduce dryer time and static cling instead of using chemicals.
Thank you for reading and being a part of this community! There would be no blog if it wasn’t for you!
