I love everything she sells, but my favorites are the cloth produce bags (which roll up so nicely), the gorgeous rainbow colored wool dryer balls, and the adorable baby leggings!

About the Baby Leggings

I was sent 3 sets of baby leggings to try out for the Holiday Gift Guide and I love them! We received the heather grey and aqua striped with lime green, a plain heather grey and a heather gray with blue stripes. I specifically was thinking of my baby boy when I picked them out but, like most of the baby leggings in the Anktangle Creations shop, they are gender inclusive and look just as delightful on my little girl. In fact, I can even wear them on my arms!

The leggings measure around 14″ long though Amy can shorten them for you before sending if you would like. She recommended keeping them the 14″ though (and I agree) since they are just as cute (if not more so!) scrunched up on a newborn and the longer style means they will work great even when your child is older. I washed them (cold water, gentle cycle with my soap nuts) and air dryed them and they did not shrink any for me although they may if you dry them. I adore them scrunched up personally so am glad I left them the longer length.

I am very pleased with the quality. I have some baby leggings from Baby Legs and a knock off brand off Amazon and although I like them and they are cute, I’ll be sticking to purchasing from Anktangle Creations for my baby leggings next time. They are much longer than any of the others I have and are much softer. I also like the cuffs a lot better. Instead of having the shorter cuffs, one cuff is longer and just seems like it would be more comfortable for the wearer. I put the longer cuff up on baby’s thighs.


As I mentioned before, these are very versatile. My 3.5 year old can wear them on her legs or arms and my infant son (2.5 months) can wear them on his little legs. I can even put them on my arms (although I don’t think I’m cool enough to pull this look off. ;)) Baby leggings are perfect if you use elimination communication to keep those little legs warm, perfect for the fall or spring weather when it’s cool in the mornings and evenings but hot during the day, and perfect for complementing your baby’s outfit. It’s a fun little fashion accessory as well as a practical way to keep warm.

Some of the ways I’ve been using them lately have been the obvious, on Jude’s legs when he’s in a onesie, but I’ve also used them paired with short sleeved onesies on Jude’s arms, on Marcella’s arms in short sleeved t-shirts, and on Marcella’s legs under skirts/dresses. It isn’t quite chilly enough for this yet, but I think it would be great to actually put underneath or over top of long-sleeved shirts/onesies or under pant legs for extra warmth during those extra chilly days. I love them for diaper changes. With the cooler fall air, it is nice when we are outside during a playdate and I need to change Jude, because his legs are not exposed to the air while I’m changing him.

These would certainly be the perfect gift for any child or mama with a baby (or one on the way) or even a teenager! I can picture these baby leggings peeking out of stockings for sure. Pair them with one of Anktangle Creations’ adorable onesies like the Christmas tree onesie for a festive holiday outfit! In fact, if you paired the Christmas tree onesie with some baby leggings and one of the wool soakers in the shop, you would have one seriously cute baby outfit!
