The Birth of Abigail

Sarah from Parenting God’s Children is sharing her 2 year old daughter, Abigail’s, birth story today as part of the Preparing for Birth: Birth Stories focus this week.

Sarah shares everything from the moment she found out she was expecting through describing her daughter now at age 2.

My favorite quote is from her midwife when Sarah said she wanted a c-section:

“Well, honey, I don’t know how to do c-sections, so you’d better get this baby out the old fashioned way or it’s going to be a long day.”
